The New England Journal of Medicine has created a case study about a healthy adult male who is considering genetic testing in light of several new revelations about his family medical history. In “Screening an asymptomatic person for genetic risk“, people are asked to weigh the facts of the case and then write in with their advised course of actions. The comments thus far illustrate many of the questions doctors and patients consider when deciding if genetic testing is the right decision. The poll and comment section are open until July 2, 2014.
