pgEd had a most enjoyable October 18th and 19th visiting with the Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS) in St. Louis, Missouri. Ting met with 600 high school and 300 middle school students as well as a specialized class of young neuroscientists. Great questions and great discussions! She also had the very great honor of being the 2012 Harbison Lecturer, in which she focused on the advances, benefits, and implications of personal genetics.
