YOUR GIFT HELPS US CONNECT WITH COMMUNITIES

This Giving Tuesday, PGED invites you to support learning and engagement on personal genetics. Your generosity helps us pave the way toward a future where genetics serves all.

Why support PGED? Genetics research is moving at a rapid pace and increasingly impacting people’s lives and society as a whole. We believe everyone deserves access to knowledge and the opportunity to be an active participant in shaping how genetic technologies are used.

To make this a reality, PGED promotes widespread awareness, active engagement, and individual empowerment around personal genetics.

PGED works with community organizations, educators, scientists, policymakers, and filmmakers to provide resources and events on personal genetics. Your contribution ensures that our free resources, workshops, and programs continue to reach people everywhere, supporting them to make informed decisions about how genetics impacts their lives.

Your gift will help keep our resources and programs free. With your gift, we can:

  • Create new educational resources
  • Update our existing resources to keep them current
  • Deliver programming with communities across the U.S.
  • Design and share learning and engagement activities that bring people together
  • And more!

Give today to support our mission to raise awareness and inspire curiosity, reflection, and dialogue about genetics. Share PGED’s mission with friends and family to amplify our impact.

Thank you for your continued support and belief in PGED’s work.

Warm regards,

Marnie, Robin, Rob, & Gill

Please note that 15% of donations pays for overhead which allows us to do the work that we do from our home in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School.
WANT TO PLAN AN EVENT TOGETHER? LET’S DO IT!

PGED is always looking for opportunities to engage with new audiences. Would you like to host a group to talk about the implications of personal genetics? What about a professional development workshop for teachers in your district?

We have staff in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Washington, DC – and we are willing to travel when possible. Contact us to find out about scheduling an event in your area!
