Where in the world is pgEd? Fall 2012 conference schedule

pgEd is hitting the road this fall.  Teachers, friends, other people who are interested in genetics, ethics, teaching and curriculum development – come see us! At all these meetings we will be leading workshops on using pgEd’s curricular materials in the classroom.

October 5th, Gardiner, Maine: Maine Science Teachers Association annual conference.

October 18-20, Louisville, KY: National Science Teachers Association regional conference.

October 29-30, Worcester, MA: Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance annual convention.

November 1-3, Atlanta, GA:  National Science Teachers Association regional conference.

An event that our teacher friends may find useful: NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins will be hosting a Facebook Live event on Monday, Dec 10th from 3:15-45 pm ET, where he will take questions from middle school students from across the US. You are invited to livestream this event to your classroom and submit your students' questions in the event feed's comments section!
