Over the years, our programs have grown and are continuing to develop through the enthusiasm, perspectives, and questions of the people we meet.
Conversations about genetics are truly conversations about us all. Engaging in conversation can empower individuals and communities to share with and learn from each other, to advocate for themselves in decision-making, and to enrich science as a whole. We believe that everyone should have opportunities to learn, discuss, and reflect on the impacts of genetics in their world.
We strive to meet people where they are – in classrooms, after-school programs, libraries, museums, and places of worship; at community festivals and professional conferences; even in the movie theaters or on Capitol Hill.
We create free resources that invite people to explore real-world applications of genetic technologies, fostering personal connection through stories and ethical questions.
We offer workshops, webinars, and conference presentations that equip educators, scientists, and other leaders to engage with their communities on relevant topics in personal genetics.
