On February 16th, Ting joined Matthew Herper, Brian Naughton, Mira Irons, Sheila Jasanoff, and Jonathan Gitlin for a session of the 2013 AAAS Annual Meeting in Boston hosted by Peter Yang, Brenna Krieger, Kevin Bonham, and James Thorton of the Harvard DMS Policy and Non-Profits Path. The session, entitled Personal Genetics: An Intersection between Science, Society, and Policy, packed the room for talks about several aspects of personal genetics, where we are going, and how we are doing in terms of our obligations toward society. Many thanks to the Harvard students for organizing such as successful session!
