Personal Genetics Education Project

pgEd teacher in the news!

pgEdĀ held an exciting and productive professional development workshop in July with teachers from all over the country. We are thrilled to share an article about attendee Connie Woytowich and her experience, as well as her plans to bring pgEd’s curriculum back to her students by creating a course entitled “Personal Genetics.” Over 25 teachers participated in our Summer Institute and delved deeply into our curriculum, shared their experiences and ideas, and will empower students to think critically about how personal genetics impacts them and our society. We are excited to hear how Connie’s and other attendees’ students engage with our lessons and the questions they raise.
