Marnie will be traveling to 4th annual meeting on Personal Genomes at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in Cold Spring Harbor, NY. This meeting attracts scientific experts in personal genomics from around the world. She will be presenting our resources, learning about cutting-edge scientific research and clinical applications and attending a panel discussion on ethics.
Lauren and Marnie will be traveling to Meredith, NH to lead a workshop for New Hampshire science teachers at the New Hampshire Science Teacher Association fall conference.
Lauren and Marnie will be attending the 7th Annual Personalized Medicine Conference at Harvard Medical School to engage in discussions of personalized medicine at the intersection of physicians, scientists, businesses, policy makers, and the general public.
pgEd has been invited to attend the upcoming workshop "What Does It Mean to be Genomically Literate?" at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI). Marnie will be traveling to Rockville, MD to represent pgEd in discussions on how to educate and engage the public on the topic of genetics and genomics.

Dana will be meeting with high school students at the Coastal Studies for Girls in Freeport, ME to discuss careers in science and ethical issues in personal genetics.
Lauren and Marnie will be speaking with future science teachers at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA about personal genetics and why it's important to teach this topic to high school students.
