pgEd has been invited to speak at the Whitehead Institute's 2013-2014 Lecture Series for High School Teachers, Deciphering Disease in the Genomic Age. We will discuss pgEd's curricular materials to bring a spotlight on ethical and social issues surrounding personal genetics.
pgEd is pleased to present a workshop entitled "Genetics Gets Personal" as part of the BioTeach and Beyond Teacher Professional Development Workshop hosted by MassBioEd. Marnie will be presenting pgEd lesson plans that introduce the rapidly-evolving field of personal genetics, personalized medicine and direct-to-consumer genetic testing.
