Ting will be the featured speaker at Project Presentation Day, an event for graduating seniors in the Department of Biology and Biotechnology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.
Dana is a featured speaker at the 2012 Genomes, Environments, and Traits Conference and will be leading a workshop for attendees interested in contributing to personal genomics education. The entire pgEd team will be attending the conference along with our invited guests from GETed.
Ting will be speaking at the 2013 AAAS Annual Meeting in Boston, MA in the session entitled Personal Genetics: An Intersection between Science, Society, and Policy. Ting's session will run from 8:30 AM-11:30 AM in Hynes Convention Center Room 203.

pgEd will be presenting at the First Annual Conference on the Governance of Emerging Technologies: Law, Policy and Ethics. This meeting will take place at Arizona State University and will cover the intersection of the GRINN technologies (genetics, robotics, information technology, nanotechnology, and neuroscience) with issues of regulation, governance, law, policy, society, and ethics.
Ting Wu will be presenting at the 8th International Conference on Genomics in Shenzhen, China. She will be talking about pgEd's mission and methods, and will offer her vision for the future of accelerating awareness and engagement about personal genetics. She will present in the session entitled, "Science Dissemination and Society: Missing Rings in a Transforming Chain".
