The travel restrictions and calls for social isolation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic are challenging us all to adjust to new schedules and develop new ‘norms’ as we try to keep ourselves, our families, and our communities safe. For pgEd, this has already meant canceling in-person meetings, presentations, and events through the end of April. We are prepared for these measures to be in place for even longer.
In anticipation of more canceled events, the pgEd team is focusing on creating digital resources that will allow us to engage with more people while our ability to be physically present is limited. In the short term, we are planning a virtual workshop focused on our new lesson “Engineering the World Around Us: Genome Editing and the Environment”. Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels or sign up for our newsletter for further updates.
The pgEd team is sending everyone our very best wishes.
