Inclusive SciComm Symposium – Workshop

We will lead a workshop for symposium attendees interested in participating in or facilitating science engagement with diverse audiences, with a focus on genetics.

The workshop will incorporate best practices (accessibility, setting community norms, and interactive activities for sharing/learning) as well as short presentation segments by facilitators. While content will focus on genetics, workshop activities will be relevant to science communication and engagement on a wide range of topics.

The workshop content centers on exercises and facilitated conversations drawing on freely available resources developed by pgEd.
