Gene Editing & CRISPR with St. Thomas Episcopal Church – ONLINE

We’re looking forward to the fifth and final session of our virtual discussion series with congregants at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Columbus, Georgia. This week, we’ll be talking about CRISPR and potential uses, from treating and curing genetic disorders, to improving human health, to producing nutrient-dense foods, and for resolving pressing environmental issues. In this session, attendees will learn about recent advances and promising applications for gene editing, particularly CRISPR, and consider some of the ethical, legal, and social dimensions of this transformative technology.
