SNAPSHOTs

SNAPSHOTs are a new way to bring pgEd into your classroom – especially if your classroom is a virtual one!

These student-facing, bite-size modules are tailored to the challenges of distance learning. Each SNAPSHOT provides high quality and meaningful content that students can work through in a self-directed manner, in 15-20 minutes. We have chosen some high-interest topics that will also lend themselves well to small group discussions, whether in person or via videoconference.

VIDEOS

The videos below are recorded versions of many of our most popular lessons. We hope that these highly-requested videos will provide a helping hand in bringing Personal Genetics into your virtual classrooms.

Distance-learning resources were created with support from the 1) the SEPA program of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (National Institutes of Health, NIH) and 2) the ELSI Research Program of the National Human Genome Research (NIH) in partnership with the Center for ELSI Resources & Analysis. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the NIH.
