DESCRIPTION:PGED is thrilled to partner with Rev. Richard Randolph and the Science & Spirituality Institute on SSI’s inaugural conference\, “Genetics and Spirituality: Conversations at the Nexus of Science and Faith” in Omaha\, Nebraska. Marnie and Rob have enjoyed helping plan the program with Rev. Randolph and collaborators at the Tri-Faith Initiative\, as well as the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute and College of Public Health. This one-day conference will explore the cultural and spiritual implications of recent advances in genetics through meaningful dialogue among genetic counselors\, geneticists\, spiritual leaders\, theologians\, and others interested in the intersection of science and spirituality.
