Farewell to Johnny!

pgEd is starting a new tradition to highlight the members of our team and their contributions, as they move on to new adventures.

Please join pgEd in saying a fond farewell to our dear colleague and friend, Dr. Johnny Kung, who has taken a position in Toronto to embark on the next phase of his journey. Johnny has served as pgEd’s Director of new initiatives for three-and-a-half years, and, prior to that, worked with us as a volunteer when he was a graduate student. During his time at pgEd, Johnny has worked on many projects and built relationships with many collaborators. With his broad training in science, social sciences, and philosophy, he has brought a richness of perspectives from different cultures, communities, and schools of thought seemingly to any conversation. He has been a thoughtful and caring voice within pgEd, a trusted resource, a talented writer, and our go-to person who has helped us through countless challenging tasks and tight deadlines. While we will miss Johnny dearly, we are excited for him to start the next chapter of his journey. His mark on pgEd will continue to live on through our work, and he will forever be a treasured member of the pgEd family.
